Comet diaphragm pump

This pump set comes with a Comet IDS 960 diaphragm pump. In our opinion this is the best available pump for pumping; various coatings (screen agents), powdered chalk, and fluoride based glass cleaners. The pressure regulator has an extra hardened pressure pin to minimize wear from "sharp" particles in the spray liquid. The pump housing is made of brass.

The IDS 960, powered by a 400/480V - 5.5Kw electric motor has a capacity of 57 liters per minute and a maximum pressure of 50Bar.

When powered by a gasoline engine, the pump has a maximum output of 90 liters per minute.

Double mixing bin with built-in stirrers

The polyester mixing bins each have a capacity of 1,000 liters and are graduated and have large hinged lids that make filling and cleaning the bins very easy.

The stainless steel stirrers prevent the coating from settling and can run permanently, even when the pump is switched off. You can therefore continue to mix the remaining spray liquid until the next morning.

No loss of time while filling the mixing bins

The time available to spray coatings is usually limited. The glass must be dry, the humidity must not be too high, and on top of that the vents must remain closed. So there is no time to waste.

By working with two mixing trays, the machine can continue spraying non-stop. When one mixing tray is almost empty, and the chalk machine is back on the platform, it is quick to switch to the second mixing tray. The person at the pump can then fill mixing container one again with new spray liquid.

After finishing spraying, a mixing bin can be filled with clean water so that the pump, hoses and spray booms can be rinsed out.

Easy to move

This trailer is easy to move using a tractor, as it is equipped with an adjustable towing eye and a set of all-terrain wheels. Forget about pump sets with small wheels, they cannot be moved over loose or uneven ground.

Hose reel

The manual hose reel is filled with a lightweight high-pressure hose, which is connected to the platform of the machine.

Connection for greenhouse roof washer

The electrically driven pump set has an extra socket to which the power cable of the Top Cleaner greenhouse deck cleaner can be connected. This is very handy when there is only one connection to the greenhouse wall.
