Service Rail

A safe Service Rail provides essential guidance along the greenhouse facade for the safe use of roof washers, chalking machines, and service platforms. Van der Waay supplies durable rail systems and has years of knowledge and experience in installing a Service Rail with the right load-bearing capacity on any greenhouse. It makes no difference whether the greenhouse is equipped with steel or aluminum gutters: a suitable, durable, and safe solution is realized for every situation.

Our Service Rail is designed to carry a weight of at least 1,800 kg and consists of an upper rail with connectors that are mounted directly in or on the greenhouse gutter. Depending on the greenhouse construction (internal or external drainage), a lower rail may also be required on the foundation.

For extra safety, we supply a gutter end stopper as standard to prevent the machine from rolling off the greenhouse. We can supply a suitable rail for every type of gutter, including replacement of outdated rail systems (these rail constructions are often too light and therefore unsafe).
